DIATEC CASE - Press Release

Due to customer demand, OKW have extended the DIATEC range of wall mount enclosures with two new models molded in lava (dark gray) ABS.

The new models are particularly suitable for wall or machine mounted applications for example machine controllers, door entry systems, time loggers, detections systems, communications devices, and medical equipment.

These ABS enclosure have a modern contoured design with a central control panel for mounting a membrane keypad, display module or push-button switches. The cases are also available with hinged lids to protect this area.

The DIATEC range has external dimensions of 8.26” x 7.87” x 1.89” (size S) and 10.63” x 7.87” x 1.89” (size M). The central control panel is recessed by 0.10” and has dimensions of 4.72” x 5.04” mm or 7.08” x 5.04” respectively.


The cases are now molded in the new lava gray color, or the existing off-white color. The standard material is ABS (UL 94 HB),  and each case consists of four molded parts: top, base and two contoured side panels that are snapped into place.

The interior of these wall mount enclosures can also be sub-divided using accessory slot-in panels. Screw pillars are provided in the top and base for mounting PCBs. The optional hinged lids are fixed to the top part and are available in solid ABS, or translucent or transparent polycarbonate.

Power cables can enter the case via the underside or base panel. Alternatively,  two 1.5V AA or a single 9V cell can accommodated in the base part.
