The latest IP65 HAND-TERMINAL handheld enclosures from OKW are designed for handheld machine controllers, test instruments and data entry devices used in heavy duty industrial applications.

HAND-TERMINAL has been designed to accept heavy duty switches and other ruggedized controls. Its even weight distribution and the ergonomic handgrip on its underside make it comfortable to hold, enabling fatigue-free working.

And unlike rival enclosures, there is the option to specify an aluminum control panel – further increasing its strength and durability.

HAND-TERMINAL is molded in an impact-resistant and flame-retardant (UL 94 V-0) blend of ABS and PC. It has a large recessed top for membrane keypads and offers plenty of space for elements such as displays or an emergency stop switch.

Two types are available (both 8.66" x 4.72" x 2.55"). Version I has a closed top while version II is open to allow the fitting of the aluminum control panel. Prices start at $53.

Various battery accessories are also available:

- 1 x 9V contacts
- 2 x 9V cradle
- 2 x 9V contacts
- 4 x 1.5AA kit with cradle and contacts

OKW can supply HAND-TERMINAL fully customized. Services include bespoke colours, CNC milling and drilling, RFI shielding and silk-screen and tampo printing of legends and logos. Assembly of components is also available.
