HRV scanner for analysing the autonomic nervous system

This HRV (Heart Rate Variability) scanner shows patients how the cardiovascular system reacts to psychological stress. It combines the standard tests of neurovegetative functional analysis (RSA test, short-term HRV, supine-standing HRV and 24-hour HRV measurement) and HRV bio-feedback in one system. In comparison to measurement using pulse wave or a chest strap, any cardiac arrhythmia that may occur (e.g. life-threatening atrial fibrillation or extrasystoles) can be detected if an ECG has been carried out. With the HRV scanner, the ECG is taken by means of electrodes clamped onto the wrists.
