Highly attractive and robust sealed cases

Two new sizes are now available in our SMART-BOX range of advanced IP66 enclosures for HVAC, monitoring and test and measurement.

The new sizes are:

  • 5.51″ (140 mm) x 4.33″ (110 mm) x 2.36″ (60 mm)
  • 7.08″ (180 mm) x 5.90″ (150 mm) x 2.36″ (60 mm).

They are the third smallest and second largest models respectively in the expanded range of seven SMART-BOX cases.

SMART-BOX industrial electronics cases can be mounted on walls, machines and bulkheads. Unusually for ABS (UL 94 V-0) cases of this type, they have a fine textured surface finish, enhancing their modern appearance.

All the fixings are hidden behind hinged clip-in trims which open wide to allow easy access with a screwdriver. And to make installations even easier, the wall fixing dimensions are molded on the underside of each case.

Every SMART-BOX housing is fully insulated to VDE 0100 and sealed to IP66 (similar to NEMA 4X) for use in challenging environments – proving that toughness and elegance do not have to be mutually exclusive.

SMART-BOX is one of three ranges of OKW enclosures manufactured to IP66. OKW also produces one IP67, ten IP65 and seven IP54 watertight cases.

Accessories for SMART-BOX include a key lock to prevent unauthorized access and security pins for fitting lead tags.
