OKW’s new PROTEC control enclosures can now be wall mounted thanks to the launch of a new suspension element (available as an accessory).

Square and soft-contoured PROTEC is ideal for applications including surveillance, access control and security, data acquisition, building services, central control, IoT/IIoT, smart factory, industry 4.0, data systems engineering, measurement and medical.

The new flush-fit wall suspension element enables PROTEC to be securely mounted to a wall or machine housing with no visible fixings. The element and fixing screws are concealed within the recessed area of the case. Each element has a built-in removal prevention feature to help stop tampering.

PROTEC enclosures are available in three sizes: 5.51” x 5.51” x 2.99”, 7.09” x 7.09” x 3.62” and 8.66” x 8.66” x 4.25”. The cases are molded from tough and UV-stable ASA+PC-FR in off-white (RAL 9002) as standard. All models can be sealed to IP 65 with the optional sealing kits.

The new wall suspension elements are available for all three cases sizes, and are manufactured from galvanized steel and supplied with two fitting screws.

PROTEC is available in three versions (with/without an interface recess) – all of which can be supplied fully customized ready for the installation of PCBs. Customization services include: CNC machining; custom colors and finishes (lacquering); digital, screen or tampo printing of legends and logos; photo quality decor foils; RFI/EMI shielding; installation and assembly.
