WALL AND DESK STATIONS FOR DOWNLOADING DATA AND CHARGING

Desk stations and wall holders are now available for OKW’s tough new range of DATEC-COMPACT handheld electronic enclosures for outdoor use.

OKW created the DATEC-COMPACT range to meet growing demand for mobile applications in harsh environments: data recording and transfer, measuring and control, stock and sales logging.

The new desk stations and wall mounted brackets enable fast and easy charging and data transfer. DATEC-COMPACT is OKW’s first range to feature integrated contacts as standard – providing an elegant all-in solution. The two-part enclosures are rated to IP 65 and are assembled with tamper-proof Torx T10 screws. They have been designed specifically for operation with gloved hands for cold climates or for industrial workplaces where protective clothing is required.

DATEC-COMPACT desk stations feature gold-plated charging contacts. Like the enclosures, they are molded from UV-stable ASA+PC-FR (UL 94 V-0) to cope with prolonged exposure to sunlight. They are supplied with rubber feet and an assembly kit.

The wall holders provide a strong and secure cradle for the enclosures and feature a large recess at the base to allow cable access for charging and data transfer. Desk stations and wall holders are available for all three sizes of DATEC-COMPACT enclosures: S 5.35” x 2.91” x 1.26”, M 6.77” x 3.62” x 1.54”), L (8.11” x 4.33” x 1.85”).

Enclosures can be specified with or without gold-plated integrated contacts. Versions with battery compartments – 3 x 1.5 V AAA (size S) or 3 x 1.5 V AA (sizes M and L) – provide slots for SD cards and USB connectors.

Prices for the enclosures start at $42. Standard colors are Off-white (RAL 9002) and Lava Gray. Special colors are available on request. Accessories for DATEC-COMPACT also include nickel-plated battery clips, rubber feet (6.5 mm x 2 mm), self-tapping screws (ø 2.5 x 6 mm PZ1) for mounting PCBs and a Torx T10 screwdriver.

OKW also offers a wide range of customizing services including CNC milling and drilling, printing (digital, water transfer, screen, tampo) or engraving of legends and logos, special materials (such as bioplastic), special finishes, RFI shielding, keypads and assembly.
