Fast and easy KNX connectivity is now available on OKW DIN rail enclosures with the launch of a new cover.OKW Railtec-B DIN Rail Enclosure KNX Cover

Two types of DIN rail enclosure in our RAILTEC-B series now feature the new flat KNX cover, available as an accessory. It is compatible with RAILTEC-B Version VI (open case) and Low Profile DIN rail enclosures in 2 or 4 modules for both versions. The new cover is molded from Light Gray (RAL 7035) polycarbonate as standard. Custom colors can be supplied on request.

RAILTEC-B DIN rail enclosures for TH35 DIN rails are available in six versions:OKW Railtec-B DIN Rail Enclosure KNX Cover

  • Version I: for PCB terminal blocks 5.0/5.08 mm pitch
  • Version II: for plug headers 5.0/5.08 mm pitch
  • Version III: closed case for front connectors, D-SUB connectors
  • Version IV: for PCB terminal blocks 5.0/5.08 mm pitch (1 row)
  • Version V: with knockout perforations 5.0 mm pitch
  • Version VI: open case for fitting different combinations of terminal guards and partition plate; optionally 1 or 2 connection levels

Enclosures can be specified with or without ventilation. Choose from six sizes (2, 3, 4, 6, 9, 12 modules) or from four sizes (2, 4, 6 and 9) for space-saving flat versions.

All RAILTEC-B enclosures are rated UL 94 V-0 for flame resistance and are fully insulated and protected according to VBG 4 and IEC 529/DIN VDE 0470-1.OKW Railtec-B DIN Rail Enclosure KNX Cover

Also available are RAILTEC-C DIN rail enclosures which offer TH35, TH15 and G32 compatibility.

The RAILTEC-C range also includes open PCB holders for DIN rails. Two types can be specified, both in two widths (2.84” and 4.21”):

  • RAILTEC SUPPORT – a modular system which allows installers working on-site to build their ideal DIN rail PCB holder using a combination of easy-to-assemble feet, end covers and intermediate sections.
  • RAILTEC SUPPORT EXTRUDED – featuring an extruded base section cut to the length of your PCB, two end covers, two mounting feet and four end cover screws
